新しいスタッフが加入しました！バングラデシュ出身です

こんにちは。経営支援部の石原です。
9月に入っても蒸し暑い日が続いていましたが、台風が通り過ぎ過ごしやすくなりました。

そろそろ秋服の出番ですね。

さて、8月に新しいスタッフが加入しました。アミンと言います。

恒例のインタビュー形式でご紹介いたします！

■　Where are you from? (city name and country)

Please tell us about the good points of your city.

I am from Chandpur city of Bangladesh! Its city is on the bank of the river Meghna which is one of the main sources of fish of Bangladesh. Chandpur is also called the capital town of Hilsa fish, our national and tastiest fish! There is also a fish export zone for Hilsa and Shrimp!

出身はどこですか？出身地の良いところを教えてください。

私はバングラデシュのチャンドプール市出身です。この街は、バングラデシュの魚の主な産地の一つであるメグナ川のほとりにあります。チャンドプールは、バングラデシュでは国民的な魚であるHilsa Fishの主要産地です！Hilsa Fishは、バングラデシュで最も美味しい魚です。Hilsaとエビを輸出している地域もあります。

■　What are your interests or hobbies?

I love playing table tennis, but my favourite computer game is minesweeper.

Besides, I love arranging tours!

興味があることや趣味は何ですか？

卓球も好きですが、コンピューターゲームではマインスイーパーが一番好きです。

他には、ツアーを手配したりするのも大好きです。

■　What is the weirdest thing for you in Japan?

L and R sound in Japanese!

日本で一番変だと思ったことは何ですか？

日本語のLとRの音！

■　How do you feel about working in Japan?

Working 8 hours is too long if we compare it to other countries! It hampers social and work life balance! It’s time to adjust the work hours!

日本で働くことについてどう思いますか？

8時間労働は諸外国と比較すると長すぎると思います! ワークライフバランスが難しいです。 そろそろ勤務時間を調整する時期なのでは！？

■　What did you study at the university?

I have studied Social Network Analysis in my Masters! My research theme was predicting future collaborations based on existing authors’ collaboration.

大学では何を勉強していましたか?

私は修士課程でソーシャルネットワーク分析について研究してきました。 私の研究テーマは、既存の科学者の共同研究から、未来の共同研究を予測することでした。

■　You have lived in Fukui Prefecture for a long time. How was your life in Fukui?

I lived in Fukui nearly for 9 years! Fukui is in the countryside so people usually know each other! I had Japanese friends and I used to play table tennis with them every week and take onsen! I was a volunteer for the Bangladesh community from Fukui City International Association and Fukui City Office for a long time!

福井県に長く住まれていたようですが、福井での生活はいかがでしたか？

福井に約9年間住んでいました! 福井は田舎なので、みんなが顔見知りです! 日本人の友達がいて、毎週一緒に卓球をしたり、温泉に入ったりしていました。長い間、 ふくい市民国際交流協会と福井市役所でバングラデシュコミュニティのためにボランティアをしていました。

■　What are your thoughts after working for several weeks at EXJ?

I think EXJ provides research time for new tools and technology which will help me to grow! Another thing I would like to mention is flexible working time is good if you have family!

EXJでは、新しいシステムや技術を研究する時間が確保されているので、自分の成長にもつながると思います。 家族がいるので、フレックスタイム制であることも助かっています。
